OUR TEAM

Our team is a community team comprised of 4 returning members and 4 new members. We have gathered from across Tampa Bay and Pasco County to form the Flaming Paintballs; formerly known as the Battery Breakers. We took the FIRST Lego League by storm in 2023 with a bid to States and hope to continue this trend. Our team includes Alex, Sophia, Austin, Eliam, Lily, Connor, Lucas, and Landon. Everyone except Austin and Eliam are homeschooled and Austin does Pasco e-school.

We are a well-rounded team with members ranging in age from 8-12. Here is a little about us:

Alex – Alex is one of the original members of the team. She is homeschooled and enjoys arts and crafts, ballet and drawing.

Austin – Austin is also one of the returning members of the team. He attends Pasco e-school and enjoys running, destroying stuff and Lego.

Connor – Connor is a new member to the team this year. He is homeschooled and enjoys climbing, video games and Lego.

Eliam – Eliam is another returning member to the team. He attends Angeline Academy of Innovation. He enjoys video games, playing hockey and you guessed it, Lego.

Landon – Landon is also a new member to the team this year. He is one of the captains this year and is homeschooled by his mom and enjoys playing hockey and building with Lego.

Lily – Lily is another new member of the team. She is homeschooled and enjoys swimming, eating and creating.

Lucas – Lucas is the final new member to the team. He is homeschooled and enjoys making stop-motion movies and surprise, surprise…Lego.

Sophia – Sophia is also one of our original members and is also one of our captains. She is also homeschooled and enjoys drawing, coding and soccer.

Coach Adriana – Coach Adriana has been our coach for two years and she enjoys robots, pickleball and sleep.

Coach Curtis – Coach Curtis has also been our coach for two years and he enjoys traveling, video games and coding.
